Returns & Refunds
Our Grading Commitment
Every record listed on Irie Mind Records is graded to the Discogs grading standard. We grade conservatively — we’d rather you be pleasantly surprised than disappointed.
Grading used media involves subjective judgment. Minor variation in what constitutes VG+ versus VG is possible between graders. Our policy covers significant misrepresentation, not minor differences of opinion on condition borderlines.
What Qualifies for a Return
- A record is significantly not as described (e.g. a VG+ listed record that skips or has severe surface noise)
- You received the wrong item
- An item arrived damaged in transit
- A record is unplayable and that was not disclosed in the listing
What Does Not Qualify for a Return
As a seller of used and collectible media, we cannot accept returns for:
- Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
- Minor condition differences within the same grade
- Sleeve or jacket wear that was accurately described in the listing
- Playback issues caused by equipment that is not properly aligned or calibrated
- International orders where customs delay caused the return window to lapse
Return Window
Contact us within 14 days of delivery if you believe your order qualifies for a return. Do not send anything back without contacting us first — unrequested returns cannot be processed.
How to Request a Return
- Email info@iriemindrecords.com with your order number
- Describe the issue and include photos of the record, sleeve, and relevant details
- We’ll respond within 2 business days with next steps
- If approved, we’ll provide a return shipping label for domestic orders
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was ours.
Collectible Media Disclaimer
Vintage and used records, cassettes, and CDs are collectible items that have been previously owned and played. Surface marks, label wear, ring wear, and other signs of age and use are normal characteristics of used media and do not constitute defects unless they affect playback beyond what is described in the condition grade.
